Dr Morris received her medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2009. She worked for several years in NSW Hospitals including RPA, ST George and Albury Hospitals. During this time she completed a Diploma of Child Health through the Westmead Children’s Hospital and undertook further study in Family Planning. She is also trained in  IUD insertion and removal. She relocated to sunny Townsville in 2012 to complete her GP fellowship. Megan’s interests include women’s health, procedures relating to Mirena and Copper IUDs, paediatrics, mental health, travel medicine, chronic disease management as well as sexual health. She is involved with the education and teaching of Medical students and Interns both in the practice and at James Cook University.
